Anthony BroomeFrom a young age, I knew I wanted to be a sports broadcaster. My passion for the teams I grew up watching in the Detroit area, along with my desire to break into the field have led me to the path I am on today.

I have worked my way onto the scene through blogging and social media and developed and honed my skill set as a sports talk radio host and producer through the Broadcasting and Cinematic Arts program at Central Michigan University.

My experience as the Managing Editor of SB Nation’s Maize n Brew has taught me how to be a leader and effective producer of content. A summer internship at Detroit Sports 105.1 helped me learn the ins and outs of the field and what it takes to make it in the radio industry.

Following my graduation from CMU, I was hired on as an NFL Staff Writer with CBS Interactive/247 Sports, where I have covered the Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins. I am currently the in charge of Minnesota Vikings coverage.

This is the foundation on which my young career is built, and I am excited to see where it goes from there and the opportunities that come my way.
